The Diabola Club

Scandalous place, drinking, gambling, wenching, yet one of the most exclusive and sought after memberships of the late 1700’s. Anyone of import and reputation to maintain was a member.

However, times change, the more Presbyterian Victoria era was not as accepting of the decedent. The club continued to exist, supporting those of more exclusive tastes. The bets became more extreme, ruining businesses, enslaving children, manipulating society and even almost bankrupting nations.
